Sky ! That blue thing that we can see when we look up but just If we don’t have something blocking the way.
This was the next topic that my dear friend Bernardo gave to me ‘So, as you like to take sky pics SO much, write about it!’
Well, what is sky?
Just an optical ilusion?
For some people is something divine that we go when we die, like a hope of life before death, for another’s is just a natural element that changes all day, many times ignored by everyone…
Most people just give any kind of importance to this magnificent element when they wake up and look at their window just to see If they might need an umbrella or not, going through all day with their mind in their stressful lifes and always too busy to look up and see the beauty above!
I usually look to the sky at least 3 times a day, when I wake up, sometimes at the middle of the day ‘cause I have some kind of necessity to look up and knowing that I’m really insignificant in this world! Seeing how the world is so BIG and I’m so tiny… and at sunset of course, when the sky is at his best! I think that every time that the sun sets it leaves ‘saudades’… (that is a Portuguese word that does not have translation! But it means that we will miss him, that feeling is called ‘saudade’ in portuguese) But then it comes the night and with her all the tiny stars and of course the moon… and that is the moment when I totally feel overwhelmed! Because that’s when I look to the sky and think that not only the world is enormous and I’m tiny! But the world is REALLY tiny and the universe huge!
Sometimes we are so occupied with our own lifes that we don’t have enough time to just look at the sky!
I advice you that every time that you have any kind of problems or is just pissed off, look at the sky and have a deep breath! :D
It makes wonders!
And appreciate what nature haves of best!
